Subsequently much research, we decided to purchase a 2017 Rpod 179 from a dealer in Mesquite, Texas. Although the dealer is approximately 300 miles from our home in San Antonio, we felt confident that the combined quality of the traler and the assurance that we "could take it to any Forrest River dealer for service"', nosotros would be safe. (There is no Rpod dealer within a 100 miles of where we alive). The offset time we had a problem with the electric tongue lift not working, we establish that "any Forrest River dealer" for repairs was true. In fact, even with with Forrest River's help, nosotros were left with called Ngo numerous dealers only to say no and offering no assist. Fortunately, I did find an surface area Forrest River dealer has worked very hard to help us. They were the only dealer of 6 which I called that was willing to help us. Although they are not an RPod dealer, they accept done much to help us. There has been a series of issues with the RPod which have greatly undermined my confidence in my camper. So far, our six month one-time camper has had considerable problems . Kickoff with a defective tongue lift, we found ourselves with a heather that was and so loud, we stopped using it and plugged in a stand up lone. (Reported to be a piece of packing plastic inside the unit). We have experienced a h2o leak which flooded the rear storage compartment.(Suspension at the city water inlet). An A/C unit with a part missing that makes too much noise to use until the office comes in. (2 weeks in the shop so far). Blueish caulk scattered on numerous portions of the blackness framing. Decals commencement peel in some places. This unit of measurement sold for $22 k earlier disbelieve. The most a dealer will allow on trade is $9k. We are trapped in a camper that nosotros accept no faith in manufactured by a visitor we have no faith in and sold by a dealer we have no faith in. If I had a exercise over, I would take purchased something from a local dealer and information technology would not have been a Forrest River product.

2021 Forest River Grayness Wolf 18MT. Basic sticks and staples RV. Start trip revealed a lot of fit and finish details that are actually terrible. First, the build grit/remnants left in cupboards/storage was unbelievable. There was no sealant around the tub faucet. If left, water damage would occur. Power canopy wiring not properly secured an was pinched on showtime use. Outdoor kitchen refrigerator only secured with sheet metal screws. Had to purchase proper screws and lock nuts and RE secure refrigerator at first overnight stop. Had a couple of bicycles strapped to carry basket at rear of trailer. Handbasket mounting brackets only secured with self tapping screws which sheared off. Skillful thing I had a drill and bits along as I had to drill 3/8" holes straight through the frame and install through bolts. Again, more time and money spent for something that should accept been done at the manufactory. On the way home, the basket bankrupt in half with just two bicycles on information technology. Meanwhile, the handbasket is rated for 150lbs. The two bicycles weigh in at 77lbs. Tire size is 14" which is also small. Tires are some other problem. The tires are such poor quality, that I bought five new tires. While the trailer comes with indoor and outdoor speakers, the speakers are such poor quality, information technology was embarrassing to even try to listen to voice radio, let solitary music. Overall, would not recommend a Wood River production.

I bought new in 2005. They still sell the same unit. The Rockwood 1640 and the Flagstaff 176 are the same unit. I paid similar 4700 bucks, the least expensive new one at present is 10K. I got electric brakes and an air conditioner. The airco was an accident and they shrugged their shoulders and said well you got airco as they accidently put it on. The electric brakes involved giving me the axle off of a 12 box (pre gear up for electric brakes) and they only charged me similar 300 bucks. The biggest advantage with a small pop up now days is that you can observe a spot and yous tin get places others can't in their travel trailers etc. This size unit can literally go anywhere, anytime, anyplace. And you can pull information technology with a small SUV like a Jeep Cherokee with the trailer packet. The build quality was excellent. In the xiii years I had it, all I did was grease the bearings and lift system every spring and tighten screws, flow.. And I never figured out where all those screws on the flooring came from but had em fix for when one would disappear. I went through three sets of tires in 13 years. Never had a blowout. The "Filon" soft tiptop was bulletproof. I towed with a Subaru Forester and so a Ram 1500. As an FYI, the best mileage I always got was with the Ram at a solid 20 mpg in Montana. This trailer is similar exactly the same height and width as a Ram1500 and creates some kind of perfect aerodynamic set upwardly for driving through the wind. Only an fyi. 1 of the mid size pick ups out now would be PERFECTION. This is a perfect first camper for people Non into a lot of creature comforts. It works all-time equally a rolling bedchamber and was how nosotros used information technology. One of the best features was the electrical mattresses when you had ability. It goes well with a pocket-sized generator. Fridge works fine only you lot exercise need power, so... and and then does furnace. But all you demand is a regular plug. Fifty-fifty my airco would work on that. Information technology wasn't supposed to... That little cabinet by the door fits a porta potti perfect. Don't skimp on this. Thetford has it downwards to a science so it is NOT a major mess with some gloves. Then, if you have i or two small kids (I'd put upward to nigh 12 years old) and want to military camp, this is a skillful choice. Used ones would be the best buy IF y'all can find one. Flip the axle for off road dry camping... just even then they are fine irrespective. Now days, at that place is a lot to be said for this type of camping. This is a good choice as it has been around forever and Wood River has worked the bugs out of it with improvements over fourth dimension. Y'all should be able to discover a site due to its size vs everyone else now days. AND it appears to run around half of the newer "difficult side" pop ups with the same space. It'south a good choice.

This review is for the Artic wolf 3990 suite. This RV has a bully floor program but it has a drop down in the dorsum of the camper. This causes the camper to drag every fourth dimension the campsite isn't perfectly level. We accept already drug the wires out from in nether it and the bumper is torn up and needs to be replaced. Very bad design with the drib down. Besides the bedroom slide leaks bad every fourth dimension it rains.

We bought this trailer in Baronial of 2018, and accept had iii skilful seasons of camping in it. We love the floor plan. The slide out gives us so much livable space in the middle of the trailer. The overall length is simply 22'ten", but it feels much larger due to the beds folding out on each end. The quality of Rockwood is and so good, the trailer is low-cal and solid. We employ an anti-sway hitch that tows extremely stable. We like to boondock, and then even without electric hook-ups, we have full apply of hot water, lights, fans, furnace, fridge, and ability slides. We take a solar unit to recharge our 2 deep bike batteries. We accept slept 6 in our trailer with plenty of room and condolement, 5 adults and 1 child. The A/C unit and furnace kept u.s. comfortable in all weather condition. The trailer is piece of cake to maneuver, and dorsum into smaller campsites. Fix up and take down is quick and easy. We love our Roo! We are trading up to a unit with a separate bedroom.

I read some proverb the quality isn't that good, you need to realize these trailers are built to be lite. That said we love our toy hauler, we don't haul whatsoever toys in information technology other than bicycles, nosotros got it for the room. Nothing worse than being cramped up in a trailer in bad weather. I've been downwardly clay roads with mine and take it real easy traveling and then I see people flight down these roads and there probably the one's lament the doors come loose and so on. I take our trailer into the dealer every year and let them do a cheque on the whole thing, so if you have care of information technology, these trailers will last y'all. If you lot want great cabinetry and really good quality than you lot ameliorate programme on spending 60 one thousand or more.

I purchased a make new 2021 Forest River travel trailer from Mount Condolement RV, I should have walked away when they were unable to figure out how the mechanical beds worked, when they realized it needed power they could not be bothered to become a battery and show me the features of the trailer. The sales process was very common cold and did not brand me feel expert at all. Next issue is when I went to pick it up later they needed several weeks to get it fix, the screens and bed motor were missing and they said they needed to order them. The hitch frame had all kinds of writhing on it and the frame was rusting, they would not fix this and said this is how nosotros commitment all of our trailers. This trailer is a toy hauler with the rear patio that is supported by cables, on day 1 of using this while standing on the patio, the cables broke and the patio dropped, the service section would not help me and the manufactures only solution was to send more cables, and offered not other help. I had to brand new larger bore cables myself. At that place are all the natural things that were incorrect with the camper which I expected similar loose screws and things breaking, It was also fourth dimension to winterize my trailer, so in October when I called to get it in for service, they said it would exist in February earlier they could get it in, So I had to practice all the repairs and winterize information technology myself. Then when I did bring information technology in for service, (Canopy Leaks, hinges stripped, red led on fuse panel) they said they would as well practise a free roof inspection.. Afterward the camper was at that place for 2 weeks I chosen to meet when information technology was going to exist fix, they said there were 2 ahead of mine and it would exist gear up the adjacent calendar week, and so next week came and went, and when I called, they said in that location was 2 alee and it would be some other week. Evidently this is in that location standard line of BS. When I did finally pick it up information technology was raining, I went in to get the cardinal, and they did non escort me out to the camper to show me the work they did, they handed me the keys and said skilful good day. So when I opened the camper all the switches were in the on position but nothing was on, and they killed my battery. Then when I opened the bedroom door it was a bad leak from the roof vent then there was water everywhere. I went dorsum in to allow them know something must take happened while it was here because I had not issues earlier then, I expected them to come up out and take a look, nope the response was you lot can just leave it here and we will get to information technology when our current service piece of work load is clear. I stormed our and said forget it I will fix it myself just similar I have had to do with everything else. One time I got it habitation, i got on the roof and you lot could run across the divide in the rubber roof from someone stepping besides close to the vent. I as well withal take the red LED issue which they said they could non reproduce. They besides sold me a weight distribution hitch the interfered with the safety change lug, so the simply way to dethatch is to pull the pivot the hitch and let tit drop as I pull the truck away. I asked them for help to set up this, they would non practise it, they said they exercise not work on hitches. I asked for help with adding a battery, and solar panels, they would not help with this either. This dealership is completely worthless. Maybe information technology was because I just spent 40k with them and they do not need my business organization, I do not know how anyone would requite them any good ratings, unless the care for there 100k customers differently.
